Prashaanth Ravindran

Prashaanth Ravindran Ph.D. is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in propulsion technologies and systems integration. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Vice-President of Engineering at Portal Space Systems since February 2024, Prashaanth also founded Exergon Analytics in April 2019, focusing on applied modeling and simulation for the aerospace industry. Prior roles include Senior Propulsion Analyst at Blue Origin, Senior Propulsion Engineer at Interstellar Technologies, and Propulsion Lead CFD Engineer at Stratolaunch, where notable achievements included advanced fluid dynamics analysis and optimization of propulsion systems. Additionally, Prashaanth held various technical specialist roles at Cummins Inc., where contributions to hybrid strategies and waste heat recovery systems significantly enhanced performance and sustainability. Prashaanth holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Madras.
