Lawrence Hughes

Lawrence Hughes is an experienced human resources executive with a diverse background in organizational change management and HR consulting. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at Porter Airlines Inc. since 2015, Lawrence has held multiple senior leadership roles including Senior Vice President and Vice President of People and Culture. Prior experience includes positions such as Senior Consultant at HR Transformations Inc., Principal at Hughes Resources, Vice President of Human Resources at West 49 Inc., and Director of Human Resources at Rogers Communications, among others. Notable achievements include leading large-scale ERP implementations, developing integrated people strategies, and managing significant HR change initiatives. Lawrence's education includes a certification as a Prosci® Certified Change Management Practitioner and studies at Royal Roads University and the University of Guelph.
