Serif Ozcan

Serif Ozcan has a diverse work experience in software development and IT, spanning over 19 years. Serif is currently working as an Azure Solution Architect and Lead Developer at Portera since August 2019. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2019, they worked at NIPO Software as a Software Development Team Lead and Senior Software Developer, where they were involved in building a scalable SaaS platform on Microsoft Azure and an Android app. Before that, they worked as a Software Development Team Leader at Grupanya from 2010 to 2012. Serif also has experience as a Software Developer at Provus from 2008 to 2010 and as a Software Developer Team Leader at www.shobbo.com from 2007 to 2008. Serif started their career as a Software Developer-Data Processing at TNS Turkey from 2005 to 2007 and as an IT specialist and PM at Millward Brown from 2002 to 2005. Their early professional experience includes working as a Research Executive at Yöntem Research from 2001 to 2002. Throughout their career, Serif has worked with various technologies such as Asp. Net, C#, .Net Framework, Visual Studio, Git, GitHub, ServiceBus, Message Queues, NoSQL, Blob data storage, and SQL Azure.

Serif Ozcan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from Anadolu University from 1994 to 1998. In terms of additional certifications, Serif obtained various Microsoft certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, MCSD: Web Applications, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, and MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3.
