Gemma Simmonds

Gemma Simmonds currently holds the position of Logistics Manager and Deputy Customs Agency Manager at Portico: Logistics & Cargo Terminal since October 2020. Prior to this, Gemma served as Deputy Customs Agency Manager at Portico Shipping from July 2018 to June 2019. Gemma also has experience coaching youth football from April 2018 to May 2019, with a focus on player development and session planning. Earlier experience includes serving as Customs Bureau Team Leader and Customer Service Clerk at Allport Cargo Services from February 2012 to July 2018, where leadership and customer service skills were pivotal. Gemma is FA Level 1 Qualified and possesses a solid understanding of the UK Trade Tariff. Education was completed at Wildern School from 2004 to 2009.
