Dennis Arends

Dennis Arends has extensive experience in strategic planning, policy analysis, and capacity development, with a focus on inclusive development and social protection. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Porticus since September 2018, Dennis supports global grant-making and program management initiatives. As a member of the Steering Committee for INCLUDE, Dennis collaborates with researchers and stakeholders to enhance the relationship between research, policy, and practice. Through Dennis Arends Consulting, numerous strategic plans and evaluations for organizations like UNICEF and the United Nations have been conducted. Previous roles within UNICEF included leadership positions in social policy and program management across various countries. Dennis holds a Master's degree in Development Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and several certificates in multi-stakeholder collaboration and management.
