Kurt Simonds

Kurt Simonds has been the Executive Dean of College Operations at Portland Community College since January 2006. Kurt was previously the Director of Academic Support and Alternative Instruction Programs at Capital Community College from January 1998 to December 2005.

Kurt Simonds has a Master’s Degree in English/Creative Writing from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s Degree in English and American Language and Literature from Harvard University.

Kurt Simonds reports to Adrien Bennings, President. They work with Tricia Brand - Chief Diversity Officer, Office of Equity and Inclusion, Michael Northover - Chief Information Officer, Information Technology, and Traci Fordham - Interim Chief Diversity Officer, Office of Equity and Inclusion.
