Nathan Shropshire

Nathan Shropshire has over three decades of experience in law enforcement and security management. Since May 2014, Nathan has served as the Manager of Security Investigations and Operations at Portland General Electric, where responsibilities include supervising Corporate Security Investigators, Corporate Security Operations personnel, and contract security at the World Trade Center in Portland. Prior to this role, Nathan spent over 31 years at the Portland Police Bureau in various capacities, including Investigative Specialist, Quartermaster/Management Analyst, and Police Officer, where Nathan was involved in uniform patrol and specialized divisions such as Drugs and Vice and Narcotics Investigation. Nathan holds a Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Certificate in Criminal Justice from the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training and has completed coursework at Portland State University and other institutions.
