Paul Dobson

Paul Dobson is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in high energy piping and boiler systems across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Design Plant Engineer at Portland General Electric since October 2022, Paul provides critical engineering support to power plants and oversees the planning and construction of high energy piping and boilers. Previously, Paul held roles such as Nuclear Technical Lead at Westinghouse Electric Company, where responsibilities included technical support for EDF's steam generator fabrication, and Senior Mechanical/Piping Engineer at Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company, focusing on engineering support and compliance in major infrastructure projects. With a solid foundation in engineering from an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a BS in Nuclear Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, Paul has cultivated a diverse skill set through positions at notable organizations including Bureau Veritas Nuclear, EDF, HDR, and Black & Veatch.
