Brian Gardiner

Brian Gardiner is a highly experienced percussionist and educator with a diverse teaching background across several institutions. Currently serving as a percussionist for the Eugene Symphony Association, Brian also teaches percussion at Reed College and the University of Portland, and has instructed percussion at the Evergreen School District since 2016. Brian's extensive tenure as a principal percussionist with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra spans over 15 years, alongside roles as an adjunct professor at Portland Community College and former adjunct positions at Marylhurst University, Warner Pacific College, and Concordia University. Brian holds a Doctor of Music degree in Percussion Performance from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master's degree in the same field from the University of Oregon.
