Heather Wasklewicz

Heather Wasklewicz is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in communications and brand strategy. Currently serving as the Marketing Manager at Portland Public Library since December 2016, Heather collaborates with library staff and leadership to enhance the library's visibility through strategic messaging. As an independent marketing and social media consultant since 2008, Heather has worked with a diverse range of clients across various industries, including non-profits and consumer goods. Previously, Heather held roles such as Social Media Manager at 32North Corporation, where a successful social media strategy for Stabilicers was developed, and Marketing Manager at Hadtke Associates, Inc., focusing on business proposals for major clients. Heather earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Southern Maine and participated in the Island Sustainability through Leadership and Entrepreneurship program from 2013 to 2015.
