Jennifer Dose

Jennifer Dose is an experienced educator with a focus on Social Studies and English Language Arts, currently teaching at Portland Public Schools since August 2023. Previous roles include Instructional Manager and Social Media Manager at KIPP SoCal Public Schools from 2018 to 2023, where Jennifer monitored and mentored novice teachers and coordinated grade finances and fundraisers. With a strong background in designing lesson plans and differentiating instruction for diverse learners, Jennifer has significantly improved student outcomes, evidenced by a 126% increase in argumentative writing mastery. Jennifer's earlier positions include teaching roles at Abbott Middle School, Mckinley Institute Of Tech, IES Gómez-Moreno, and various student teaching experiences, complemented by a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Teaching from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts in History from UC Santa Barbara.
