Maria Fuhrmann

Maria Fuhrmann is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at Sellwood Middle School within Portland Public Schools since August 2023. Prior to this role, Maria worked as a Humanities Teacher at Parkrose Middle School from August 2018 and was a High School English Teacher within Parkrose School District from September 1999 to 2016. Earlier in Maria's career, an English teacher position was held at Elk Grove Unified School District from 1996 to 1998. Maria Fuhrmann holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English & French from Gonzaga University, a Master’s Degree in Education from Portland State University, and a Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA Extension.
