Marina Cresswell

Senior Director, Office Of School Modernization at Portland Public Schools

Marina Cresswell has extensive work experience in various roles related to project management and facilities services. Marina started their career in 2006 at the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, where they worked as a Design and Program Manager. In 2008, they joined the City of Portland as a Construction Project Manager and later took on roles as a Planning and Development Project Manager and an Operations and Maintenance Manager. In 2015, Marina briefly worked as a Director for the Oregon State Capitol Renovation Project before moving to Legislative Administration in the Oregon State Legislature, where they served as a Project Director until 2018. In 2018, they joined CBRE | Heery as a Program Manager before transitioning to their current role as the Senior Director in the Office of School Modernization at Portland Public Schools, where they have been since 2019.

Marina Cresswell holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Italian Studies from Vassar College. Marina also has pursued a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree at the University of Washington.
