Maureen Markey, MS, MSW/LSSW, has an extensive background in social work and mental health consultation, with a focus on early childhood development and social-emotional learning. Currently serving as a Mental Health Consultant for the Head Start Program at Portland Public Schools since January 2021, Maureen has been instrumental in supporting North Portland's staff, families, and children. Previous experience includes roles as a School Social Worker within a Transformative SEL Team, where Maureen facilitated district-wide training and workshops, and as a Mental Health Consultant/Bilingual Therapist at Multnomah County, focusing on fostering social-emotional development in Head Start programs.
