Steve Smith

Steve Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and operations within the construction and landscape industries. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Portland Public Schools since January 2017, Steve previously held significant roles at Bright Homes, including Director of Operations, overseeing multiple departments and software systems to enhance workflow efficiency. With a career beginning in 1983, Steve has also held positions such as Customer Service Manager, Process Manager, and Landscape Manager at Bright Development. Additional experience includes Project Manager at Oakridge Landscape and Maintenance, Owner of Exterior Designs, and General Manager at Rascon Landscape and Nursery. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and has further education from the University of Arizona.
