Jaymee Jacoby has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jaymee started their career in 2000 as an Assistant Manager at the Indiana University Foundation. Jaymee then worked as a Student Services & Advancement Associate at Sierra Nevada University from 2002 to 2004. After that, they became the Guest Services Manager at the Portland Art Museum from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, they joined the Museum of Contemporary Craft as a Development Officer and worked there until 2008.

In 2009, Jaymee became the Development Director at Bitch Media, where they stayed until 2012. Jaymee then moved to the Portland State University Foundation, where they held various roles including Major Gift Officer, Director of Development, and Senior Director of Development. Jaymee'smost recent role at the foundation was Assistant Vice President for Development from 2020 to 2023. Currently, they are serving as the Associate Vice President for Development at the Portland State University Foundation.

Jaymee Jacoby (she/her) pursued their education with a strong focus on arts and humanities. From 1995 to 1999, they attended Indiana University Bloomington, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Jaymee'sstudies encompassed various disciplines including Studio Art, French, and a minor in Art History. Continuing their academic journey, Jaymee enrolled at Portland State University from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Master of Public Administration degree. Jaymee'sspecialization during this period involved Nonprofit Development & Management, indicating their interest in the field of social impact and organizational leadership.
