William Boldt has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the field of university advancement and fundraising. William has served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Portland State University Foundation since 2016, where they lead fundraising and alumni relations initiatives. Prior to that, Boldt was the Vice President of University Advancement at the University of Nevada Las Vegas from 2007 to 2016, overseeing various advancement units and successfully completing a $500 million capital campaign. William also served as Vice Chancellor at the University of California, Riverside from 2004 to 2007, providing leadership for the Advancement division. Before that, Boldt held the position of Vice President at Cal Poly State University from 1994 to 2004, where they reorganized and increased private support. William began their career at Cornell University, working as an Assistant Dean and providing leadership for the college's public affairs office. Additionally, Boldt served as the District Director-Statewide Marketing Director at Cornell Cooperative Extension, where they supervised multiple offices and delivered educational programs.
