Madhu Narayanan

Madhu Narayanan currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Educational Leadership and Policy at Portland State University, College of Education, since September 2022. Previously, Madhu held multiple teaching and leadership positions, including Assistant Professor at Relay Graduate School of Education and various roles in the NYC Department of Education, such as Assistant Principal, Principal, and Teacher in Science. Additional experiences include serving as an Adjunct Instructor at CUNY Bronx Community College and Hunter College, a Resident with New Leaders, a Corps Member and Institute School Director with Teach For America, and coaching in the Office of Teacher Effectiveness. Madhu Narayanan earned a PhD in Education from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, an MST in Education from Fordham University, and a BS/BA in Environmental Studies and Atmospheric Science from the University of Washington.
