Andrae Patterson

Andrae Patterson has a strong background in basketball operations and coaching. Andrae currently serves as the Assistant General Manager for the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Quarter, a role they started in February 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions with the Cleveland Cavaliers, including Senior Director of Basketball Operations from July 2020 to February 2022 and Director of Basketball Administration from October 2017 to July 2020. Before joining the Cavaliers, Patterson worked for the Utah Jazz as the Coordinator of Player Personnel/ Programs from June 2015 to October 2017. Andrae also gained coaching experience as the Assistant Basketball Coach for the Idaho Stampede, an NBA D-League team affiliated with the Utah Jazz, from October 2014 to June 2015. Additionally, Patterson worked at The University of Texas at Arlington, where they served as the Assistant Basketball Coach from May 2012 to October 2014 and the Director of Basketball Operations from October 2009 to June 2012.

Andrae Patterson attended Cooper High School from 1990 to 1994. Andrae then went on to Indiana University Bloomington from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.
