Kim Monroe has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. Kim started their career as a Public Affairs Intern at the U.S. Department of State in 2000. In 2005, they joined Marketing Inspirations where they served as a Media Planner/Buyer for three years. Their responsibilities included researching, planning, and buying marketing campaigns across various media platforms, as well as acting as a liaison between clients and media partners. Additionally, they negotiated added value promotions for clients. Since 2009, Kim has been working at the Portland Trail Blazers as a Client Service Manager.

Kim Monroe completed a Master of Arts in International Business from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business. This took place from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, Kim Monroe earned a Master of Science in International Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology. This degree was obtained from 1997 to 2002.
