Maggie Yang

Maggie Yang's work experience begins with their current role as the Director of Communications for the Portland Trail Blazers @ the Rose Quarter, which they began in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Manager of Basketball Communications for the Charlotte Hornets from February 2020 to October 2022. Before that, they held multiple positions with the Memphis Grizzlies, including Manager of Communications and Publications from February 2019 to February 2020, Coordinator of Communications and Publications from August 2017 to February 2019, and Intern of Communications and Publications from September 2016 to July 2017. Maggie also worked as a Freelance Translator for Kevin Sullivan Communications from November 2016 to February 2017, a TODAY and TODAY: Weekend Edition Production Intern for NBC News from January 2016 to May 2016, a HGTV, DIY Network, Great American Country Consumer Press Intern for Scripps Networks Interactive from May 2015 to August 2015, a Digital Media Intern for DuJour Media from January 2015 to May 2015, and a Media and Communications Intern for J Marshall Events, Inc from June 2014 to January 2015. Throughout their various roles, Maggie has demonstrated expertise in communications, public relations, event management, translation, and media production.

Maggie Yang obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Media, Culture, and Communication; Journalism from New York University. Maggie attended this institution from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at St. Mary's Episcopal School, where they earned their High School Diploma from 2008 to 2012.
