Rick Riley

Rick Riley enters his sixth season as the team’s Director of Security. Riley is responsible for planning and coordinating all basketball team related security operations, including team travel, games, special events and individual player appearances. Prior to joining the Trail Blazers, Riley worked for two years as a contractor with the Miami Heat, where he served in a similar capacity. Riley worked as a Special Agent in the United States Air Force, where he served for 15 years. Agent Riley also coordinated protective service operations, undercover operations and ran the Joint Drug Enforcement Team (JDET). The JDET was responsible for investigating drug use and distribution by Air Force members, and civilians suspected of dealing to Air Force members.
