Ryan Staples is an experienced professional in wastewater treatment, currently serving as the Wastewater Treatment Foreperson at Portland Water District since February 2014. With a strong background in managing and operating wastewater treatment plants, Ryan has previously held roles including Senior Wastewater Operator and Maintenance Wastewater Operator, where skills in operation without supervision, SOP development, and equipment maintenance were honed. Prior work as a Control Center Operator at Portland Water District involved enhancing customer service skills and decision-making abilities. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Southern Maine.
