Portman Holdings
Neal provides a wide range of legal advice and strategy support to the Portman development team. During his tenure with Portman he has been responsible for closing the acquisition, development and financing of real estate having a value in excess of several billion dollars. His additional responsibilities include the legal services required in connection with the ownership, management and operation of the properties owned and managed by Portman Holdings. Neal has been with the company for 38 years and has served as General Counsel for 35 years. Before joining Portman Holdings, he was on the legal staff of Life of Georgia overseeing their real estate investments, and was an associate with Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy in Atlanta. He received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Michigan.
