Suraj Amarnani

Suraj serves as Portman Holdings’ Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, responsible for the firm’s accounting, tax, financial reporting and treasury management functions. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Prior to joining Portman, Suraj was Audit Senior Manager at KPMG LLP, where he led the audits of private companies in various industries including real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, not-for-profit, and alternative investments.

Suraj is an alumnus of UGA, where he earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Accountancy. He currently serves as Treasurer for Odyssey Family Counseling Center and Board Member of the Ascend Southeast Hub.
