Paul Withnell

Paul Withnell has extensive work experience in the ceramics industry. Paul started their career as a Laboratory Technician at Royal Worcester and Spode in 1979, eventually becoming a Laboratory Manager. Paul then moved into process control technology and sourcing management roles before joining Portmeirion Group Limited in 2009. At Portmeirion, they held various positions including Quality Control Executive, General Sourcing Manager, and International Quality Manager. In 2017, they joined Portmeirion Group UK as the Head of New Product Supply. Currently, they hold the position of UK New Product Supply Director at Portmeirion Group Limited.

Paul Withnell attended Alsager School from 1974 to 1979, although they did not obtain a degree or study a specific field during this time. Later, from 1979 to 1985, they enrolled at North Staffs University, where they pursued a degree in Ceramic Technology with a focus on Ceramic Sciences and Engineering.
