Manuel Franqueira

Manuel Franqueira is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in application development and migration projects. At Porto Editora since September 2013, Manuel has led the migration of projects from Solr4 to Solr Cloud Adapter 8 and from JBoss 4.0 to Wildfly 9, in addition to architecture design and application development in Java EE 6. Previously, at Indra from December 2009 to August 2013, Manuel enhanced Pharmacies Lifecycle software and participated in the development of web applications for the Portuguese Port Authority utilizing Java EE 5. Earlier roles include technical consulting at Logica TI and Blaupunkt, focusing on database architecture and various web technologies. Manuel holds a degree in Information Technology from Universidade do Minho.
