Andy Low

Andy Low has over 16 years of work experience in the IT industry. Andy currently works as an IT Port Operations Engineer at Ports of Auckland, where they install, supports, and maintains port-specific technology and software. Andy is also responsible for troubleshooting failures of container handling equipment and coordinating with third parties for operational technology support.

Prior to their current role, Andy served as a Customer Service & Technical Manager at OKI DATA (Singapore) PTE LTD from 2017 to 2019. Andy managed authorized service providers and call centers nationwide, handling customer complaints and providing before and after-sales support. Andy also documented system updates for future reference.

From January 2017 to September 2017, Andy worked as a Senior System Support II at Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (Malaysia Operations). In this role, they coordinated with engineers, vendors, and clients to design and develop software and applications. Andy also conducted user requirement studies and prepared user requirement specifications.

Andy's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Johnson Control (M) Sdn Bhd from 2009 to 2016, where they troubleshooted and rectified problems associated with building control systems and security systems. Andy also managed the building of SURIA, KLCC, Exxonmobil, and Twin Tower (KLCC) in KL city.

Before that, Andy worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Vknow System Sdn Bhd from 2005 to 2008. Andy provided on-site servicing for POS systems, troubleshooted system configuration files and databases, and provided remote support to clients.

Andy Low completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU / APIIT) from 2001 to 2004. Andy then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Malaysia University of Science and Technology from 2016 to 2018. In 2019 to 2020, Andy Low attended Whitireia Community Polytechnic, where they obtained a Master of Information Technology degree in the field of Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services.
