Ian Shackelford

Ian Shackelford has a diverse work experience. Ian is currently working as a Project Manager at Ports of Auckland since February 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Director at Elite Computer Services Ltd since September 1989 and then worked as Director at Elite Project Solutions Limited starting from March 2013. Ian also worked as a Senior Project Manager at AIA from December 2019 to September 2020, and as a Senior Project Manager at healthAlliance from July 2017 to September 2019. Ian has also worked as a Project Manager at Vodafone New Zealand from February 2016 to March 2017 and at Smith & Smith Glass from August 2014 to September 2015. Ian was a Project Manager for the Core Telephony Infrastructure Refresh project at Fisher and Paykel Finance from February 2013 to September 2013. In addition, Ian managed various projects as a Project Manager at Auckland Council from September 2011 to December 2012 and at Vodafone New Zealand from February 2010 to December 2010.

Ian Shackelford has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Management Information from The University of Auckland, which they obtained during the period from 1981 to 1984. Ian also has a certification in PRINCE 2 Agile, which they obtained in May 2016, and another certification in PRINCE2, obtained in December 2009. Prior to university, Ian attended Auckland Boys Grammar from 1975 to 1979, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period. In 1980, they briefly attended Auckland University of Technology and obtained an NZCDP degree in IT.
