Roman Mogylatov

VP of Engineering at Portside

Roman Mogylatov has worked in the software engineering field since 2007. Roman began their career at Spexo as a PHP Software Engineer, where they designed, developed, and optimized high-loaded web backends, as well as led a small-size development team. In 2013, they moved to Cupid plc as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Leader, where they designed and developed a dating platform based on microservices and led a moderate-size development team. In 2015, they joined SoftServe as a Technical Leader and Python Expert, where they owned, designed, developed, and supported high-loaded data delivery systems, led a moderate-size development team, and conducted technical interviews, knowledge evaluations, and performance appraisals. In 2017, they returned to Portside, Inc. as a Technical Leader, where they designed and developed a financial and operational management system for private jet owners and led a moderate-size development team. Roman currently holds the position of VP of Engineering at Portside, Inc.

Roman Mogylatov obtained an Engineer's degree in Electronic systems from Dniprodzeržins'kij Deržavnij Tehnicnij Universitet between 2005 and 2010. Roman also holds certifications from The Linux Foundation, Python Institute, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and HashiCorp, including CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, [PCAP-31-03] PCAP – Certified Associate in Python Programming, [PCEP-30-01] PCEP – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002), and Amazon Web Services from Brainbench, obtained in 2021 and 2022.
