Laurent Coffre

Laurent Coffre, ACMA, CGMA, currently serves as Finance Manager at Portsmouth City Council since January 2024. Before this role, Laurent held various positions at British American Tobacco from January 2005 to October 2023, including Head of Finance for Global Track & Trace, where strategic support was provided for regulatory changes and management of a multi-million budget. Additional roles at British American Tobacco included Finance Lead for a major business model transformation, Head of Commercial Finance overseeing a team, Regional Risk & Control Manager, Internal Auditor, and Finance Manager for Africa and the Middle East. Earlier experience includes serving as Cost Controller at Hilton Worldwide. Laurent is CIMA qualified in Management Accounting and holds a BA (Hons) in Humanities and Classical Studies, along with a BSc in Finance and Hospitality Management.
