Wayne Broadbent

Wayne Broadbent is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Havant Thicket Reservoir at Portsmouth Water since February 2024. Previously, Wayne held the role of Senior Technical Manager at Thames Water, leading a technical team on major engineering infrastructure projects valued up to £100 million. With a solid background at Trant Engineering Ltd as Engineering Manager, Mechanical Design Manager, and Project Manager, Wayne managed a multi-disciplinary team and coordinated project workloads across various engineering projects. Earlier experience includes roles at Black & Veatch, Gleeson ECL, MJ Gleeson Group Plc, and MWH, where responsibilities ranged from project controls planning to lead design engineering in wastewater treatment. Wayne holds a Master of Engineering (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey.
