Elaine Lim

Elaine Lim has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Elaine is currently working at Pos Malaysia Berhad as the Head of Commercial Management Accounting, a role they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of FPA Costing at Pos Malaysia Berhad from September 2022 to September 2023.

Before joining Pos Malaysia Berhad, Elaine worked at Baker Hughes as the Lead Analyst for FP&A. During their time there from June 2020 to September 2022, they led the migration and transformation of FP&A functions at the Malaysia Global Financial Center, managed data analytics and financial reporting, and partnered with corporate function heads on monthly pacing and closing activities.

From 2009 to 2020, Elaine held various roles at HP, including Lead Financial Analyst. Elaine managed the finance aspects of the SEAK region print supplies business, South Pacific sub-region, and APJ region PC and Print warranty finance under Customer Services support organization. Elaine'sresponsibilities included month-end closed activities, management reporting, budget planning, analysis, and providing recommendations to the business.

Earlier in their career, Elaine worked at Classic Scenic Bhd as a Finance Executive, where they prepared group accounts, tax estimates, and budgets, and provided analysis and recommendations to improve company operations. Elaine also assisted in maintaining internal controls to comply with ISO9001:2000 and FSC COC standards.

Elaine's career began as a Tax Assistant at Deloitte, where they provided tax computation services for corporates and expatriates and offered advisory and consultancy services. Elaine also worked as an Audit Assistant at Lee & Associates, where they prepared financial statements and maintained statutory records, conducted audits, and prepared management accounts for small-sized companies.

Elaine Lim earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Accounting from the University of East London between 2007 and 2009. Elaine also obtained additional certifications, such as Microsoft Power Automate Essential Training and Learning Data Analytics from LinkedIn in 2022 and 2019 respectively. Furthermore, they completed a certification in Cybersecurity Awareness: Digital Data Protection from LinkedIn in 2019.
