Biancha Waraich is an experienced nursing professional and educator with a diverse background in psychiatric nursing. Currently serving as a Nursing Instructor at Douglas College since September 2023, Biancha has simultaneously worked at Forensics Psychiatric Hospital, the Government of Nunavut, Vancouver Coastal Health, and Langley Memorial Hospital in various psychiatric nursing roles since 2020. Additionally, Biancha has a longstanding commitment to community support, working as a Family Support Worker at posAbilitiesCA and a Community Support Worker at Langley Association for Community Living. Biancha's academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health from the University of Liverpool, a Bachelor's degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from Douglas College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia.
