Benjamin Schwedler

Benjamin Schwedler is a Senior Software Engineer at Posit PBC since December 2021, with prior experience as a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Lumen Technologies from October 2016 to December 2021. Benjamin served as the Testbed Development Technical Lead at the NOAA Aviation Weather Center between January 2012 and September 2016, and held the position of National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow at Purdue University from September 2009 to December 2011. Earlier career experience includes working as a Help Desk Analyst III at Iowa State University Information Technology from March 2007 to May 2009. Benjamin earned a Master of Science in Atmospheric Science from Purdue University (2009-2011) and a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Iowa State University (2005-2009).
