Jeffrey Stevens

Data Science Mentor at Posit PBC

Jeffrey Stevens is a seasoned academic with over a decade of experience at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, serving in various roles from Assistant Professor to Professor since August 2011. In addition to this role, Stevens has been a Data Science Mentor at Posit PBC since May 2022. Previously, Stevens worked as a Research Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development from June 2006 to June 2011 and held the position of Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University from January 2003 to June 2006. Stevens earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior from the University of Minnesota, where study was completed in December 2002, and holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology and Environmental Studies from Baylor University, obtained in May 1996.
