Jeroen Janssens

Jeroen Janssens is a seasoned professional in the fields of data science and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Developer Relations Engineer at Posit PBC since February 2025. With extensive experience as an author for O'Reilly Media, Jeroen is working on "Python Polars: The Definitive Guide," set to be published in February 2025. Previous roles include Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Xomnia, Machine Learning Engineer at the University of Amsterdam, and Lead Data Scientist at Elsevier, among others. Jeroen has contributed to the data science community as an organizer of the Data Science NL Meetup and as the founder of Data Science Workshops, providing training to notable clients. Jeroen holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, both earned with honors.
