Marti Reed

Director of National Partnerships & DEI Programming Manager at Positive Coaching Alliance

Marti Reed has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marti began their career as a Project Manager Intern at AT&T in 2010. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as an Associate for Marcus & Millichap, specializing in commercial retail property investments. Marti also served as a Graduate Assistant to Jonathan Sprinkles at Sprinklisms, Inc., where they honed their skills in motivational speaking. Additionally, in 2015, they worked as an Athlete/Fit Model for Easton Baseball/Softball. Marti's passion for sports led their to become a Hitting Instructor for Fastpitch Softball from 2010 to 2016.

In 2012, Marti joined UCLA Athletics as a middle infielder on the championship-winning softball team. Marti excelled academically and provided leadership and service to the campus and community. Marti later ventured into entrepreneurship, founding their own platform called "TheMartiReed- Utility Player Life," where they worked as a Speaker, Author, and Utility Player in Life.

Marti's most recent and prominent role is with Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), a national nonprofit organization. Marti joined PCA in 2014 as a Partnerships Manager, responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing partnerships with youth sport organizations and schools. Over the years, Marti took on various roles within PCA, including Development Manager for the Los Angeles Chapter from 2017 to 2019 and National Partnerships & Marketing Manager from 2019 to 2021. Most recently, Marti was promoted to the position of Director of National Partnerships & DEI Programming Manager in October 2021, where they have been instrumental in delivering PCA's programming and cultivating relationships with national and corporate partners. Throughout their tenure at PCA, Marti consistently increased sales numbers, renewed key partnerships, and implemented successful programs.

Marti Reed attended UCLA from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in Sociology. Marti'sfield of study included Urban Planning, Architecture, Politics, and Global Studies. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a Salesperson License from the CA Department of Real Estate in December 2012.
