Darren Weng

Darren Weng has a range of experience in hardware engineering and design. Darren began their career as a System Design Engineer at Ruixin Semiconductor in 2001, where they were responsible for verifying and solving audio issues for AC97 Audio CODEC/Amplifier in NB/MB customers. From 2010 to 2013, Weng worked as a Hardware Design Assistant Manager at Jhih Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. Darren led an audio hardware design team and was responsible for designing Audio SONY LED/LCD TV products. Weng then became a Senior System Design Engineer at LongShine Technology Co., Ltd from 2004 to 2010. In this role, they implemented LCD TV Audio Firmware, driver, and hardware for total solutions. From 2017 to 2018, Weng worked at Cmedia as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, where they designed hardware circuits, performed layout, and debugged on Gaming Headset systems. Currently, Weng holds the position of Director of Hardware Engineering at Positive Grid since 2018, and is responsible for BLE/BT Audio and 4G systems.

Darren Weng earned a Master's degree in electrical engineering from National Chiao Tung University from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at 台北工專 from 1993 to 1995.
