Positive Partnerships
Mari Horiguchi is an experienced psychologist with a diverse background in educational and developmental psychology. Currently, Mari serves as a psychologist at Mullum Road Clinic and Autism Spectrum Australia, providing therapy and conducting diagnostic assessments for various age groups. In addition, Mari is a facilitator for the Diverse Community delivery team at Positive Partnerships, focusing on support for autistic children and culturally sensitive resources for Japanese families. Mari's previous roles include consulting for the Positive Parenting Program and working as a university tutor and research assistant at the University of Melbourne. With experience spanning over a decade, Mari has developed a strong foundation in clinical practice, educational support, and research, underpinned by a Master's Degree in Psychology from Monash University.

Positive Partnerships
Positive Partnerships is a national project funded by the Australian Government Department of Education through the Helping Children with Autism program. We’re delivered by Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect). We deliver high-quality professional learning and resources through workshops, webinars and online modules for parents, carers and school staff. This strengthens their capacity to support and advocate for young people on the autism spectrum. Since our launch in 2008, we’ve delivered workshops around the country to more than 7,000 teachers and school staff, and more than 13,000 parents and carers. We also facilitate a range of webinars and provide quality online learning modules via our Online Learning Hub. Our website contains extensive information sheets and resources on a range of topics to support all families in our community.
