Doug van Spronsen is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in leadership and digital transformation. Currently serving as Co-Founder of Rescue Payments, Doug also holds the position of Director on the Board of the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation, focusing on funding child health initiatives. Previously, Doug was CEO and Co-Founder of Versett, a digital transformation company acquired by CBTW, and Partner at Collaboration Betters The World, fostering innovation through technology collaboration. Doug has significant experience in philanthropy as Director of True North Water, supporting access to clean drinking water, and has held various leadership roles, including Board Director and Chair of the HR Committee at Connect First Credit Union. Earlier in the career, Doug worked as Digital Strategy Director at DDB Canada and Co-Founder of MakeGood.com, a social responsibility web app. Doug was also the Team Captain of Team Canada Volleyball, showcasing leadership in athletics.
