Christopher Dragert, Ph.D. has an extensive work experience in the field of computer game development. Christopher currently works as the Gameplay Engineering Director at Possibility Space since November 2022. Prior to that, they held positions at Ubisoft Toronto, where they served as the Senior Lead Programmer, AI & Systems from January 2021 to September 2021. Christopher also worked as the Lead Game Systems Programmer, overseeing the development of Game Systems for Watch Dogs: Legion, from February 2017 to January 2021. Christopher began their career at Ubisoft Toronto as an AI Programmer from February 2014 to January 2017.

Before joining the industry, Christopher completed their Ph.D. in Computer Science at McGill University. During their time there from September 2008 to February 2014, they focused on researching the application of model-driven development to computer game AI. Christopher published papers on industrial-scale AIs and developed practical tools for AI development. Additionally, they served as a Course Lecturer, teaching a graduate-level course on Modern Computer Games, covering topics such as narratives, game physics, collision detection, game AI, pathfinding, and networking using Unity3D.

Christopher Dragert, Ph.D. received their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Queen's University, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Following this, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at McGill University, graduating in 2014.
