Rodrigo de Freitas Pereira

Rodrigo de Freitas Pereira has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry. In 2009, they held internships as a Web Developer at Quality System and Winner System LTDA. From 2012 to 2015, they worked on research projects sponsored by FAPESP at ICMC-USP, including "Evolutionary algorithms applied as Artificial Inteligence on a real-time strategy games" and "A Mixed Integer Programming approach applied on chemical industry to reduce production costs". From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Analyst at Accenture and CI&T. In 2021, they were a Senior Data Scientist at iFood. Rodrigo is currently a Data Science Specialist at Possible, beginning in 2022.

Rodrigo de Freitas Pereira has a diverse educational background. Rodrigo obtained a Master's degree in Brain Computer Interfaces & Deep Learning from Universidade Estadual de Campinas in 2021. Prior to that, they received a BSc in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo in 2016, which included a year of undergraduate exchange at the University of Birmingham in 2013-2014. Rodrigo also obtained a Técnico em Informática from Colégio Técnico Industrial in 2009, and a Centro de ensino in Língua Inglesa from Fisk in 2010. In addition, Rodrigo holds two certifications: an ESET Cyber Security Awareness Training Certificate from ESET North America in 2021 and a Google Certified Professional - Data Engineer from Google Cloud Certified in 2019.
