Vishal Thanki has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Vishal has recently joined Post Office Ltd as a Data Governance Transformation Lead. Prior to that, they worked as a Director at Sitrys Ltd. Vishal also worked at Homes England as a Data Consultant in the areas of Data Quality Management, Data Governance, and Data Migration. Vishal has experience in data strategy delivery as a Data Strategy Delivery Manager at Ofsted. Vishal took a career break in 2020 before that, they worked as a Cloud Transformation Portfolio Manager at the Department for Education. Vishal also served as an Agile Transformation Consultant at Severn Trent. Vishal has experience in program management and portfolio governance as a Programme Management Consultant at Morgan Stanley and as the Head of Data Quality Remediation and Head of PMO at Deutsche Bank.

Vishal Thanki has a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Computer Systems Engineering with Intercalated Year from the University of Warwick. Prior to that, they attended Gateway Sixth Form College where they studied A Levels in Maths (A), Computing (A), and Physics (B). In addition to their formal education, Vishal has obtained several certifications including Qlik Sense Analytics Development from Udemy, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, Managing Scaled Agile: Expert from Pluralsight, Scrum Master from The Knowledge Academy, and Certified EU GDPR Foundation and Practitioner as well as PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner Certification Training from The Knowledge Academy.
