Jesse Englert

Jesse Englert has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jesse started their career as a Web Developer at Cal Poly State University, where they designed and maintained several websites. Jesse then became a Lab Administrator, responsible for maintaining workstations, servers, and network devices.

After that, Jesse worked at Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer Intern, where they designed and created software for testing and upgrading network devices.

Jesse then joined Applied Technologies Associates as a Software Engineer, eventually becoming a Lead Software Engineer. In this role, they managed a team, mentored interns, and maintained a large Java codebase. Jesse also led the development of a new Java application.

Jesse also served on the board of directors at The Pad Climbing, contributing to strategic planning during a transition period. Jesse was also a Board Member at Bike SLO County, supporting staff in developing priorities and securing funding for promoting bicycling.

Prior to their current role, Jesse worked at Healthcare IQ as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led a team and developed backend services and APIs for a customer-facing web application.

Currently, Jesse is a Senior Software Engineer at Postal, a sales and marketing platform. Jesse was one of the early employees and is responsible for developing and enhancing the platform to drive better engagement with prospects, customers, partners, and employees.

Jesse Englert attended Windsor High School from 1997 to 2001. After completing high school, Jesse went on to California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Jesse studied at the university from 2001 to 2006.
