Umer Sheikh

Umer Sheikh is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, project management, and strategic budgeting. Since November 2016, Umer has held the position of Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at PostaPlus, where responsibilities include analyzing and auditing financial reports in compliance with IFRS. Prior to this role, Umer served as Director Projects for Gazal Logistics Services and Warehousing Co, managing cash-generating projects across Kuwait and Iraq. Umer’s career includes significant roles such as Senior Project Manager and Group Finance Manager, where notable achievements include cost reduction initiatives and the establishment of accounting functions in Iraq. Umer also has a strong foundation in financial analysis and strategic planning, having worked as a Financial Analyst at Al Tijaria Group and as a Senior Financial Analyst with Gazal Logistics. Umer holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Hailey College of Commerce and an M.Com in Finance from the University of the Punjab.
