Karin van Eeden

Karin van Eeden has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and software development. Karin currently holds the position of Principal Data Scientist at PostNL, where they lead the data science community and also serves as a Senior Data Scientist. Prior to joining PostNL, they worked as a Data Scientist at Transavia for three years. Karin also has experience as a Consultant & Developer at CCmath, where they worked as an on-site consultant for clients such as Bol.com, CZ, Telenet, and Ziggo. Karin'smain responsibilities at CCmath included developing quantitative algorithms and software for contact centers to forecast demand, workload, and staffing requirements. Karin has also worked as a Senior Forecasting Specialist for Ziggo (via CCmath), and as a Research Intern at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica. Earlier in their career, Karin gained experience as a Software Developer at CCmath.

Karin van Eeden completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Analytics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2012. Karin then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics from the same institution in 2014.
