Leonie Houwen

Leonie Houwen is a Senior Service Designer at PostNL since September 2021, bringing extensive experience in design research and service design from previous roles at emotion/studio and TU Delft. Leonie contributed as a part-time teacher for the Master course Design for Emotion and engaged in research on sustainable renovation of elderly housing. Leonie completed a master's thesis titled "Food for Mood," exploring the interplay between food and emotions, while also serving as a student assistant during the bachelor's program at Delft University of Technology. Internships at Philips Lighting and Unilever involved developing innovative products and applications. Leonie's academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering, complemented by a minor in Retail Design. Additionally, Leonie served as a board member and treasurer for the National Rowing Competition Organization.
