Currently leading Bloomry since April 2023, Michael focuses on addressing behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health challenges for parents, caregivers, and educators. Prior experience includes serving as Engineering Lead at Knockri, managing a cross-functional team and enhancing recruitment processes for over 100,000 candidates. Michael's technical expertise encompasses machine learning, with notable achievements in developing bias-free assessment scoring pipelines and backend services in various engineering roles. Michael's entrepreneurial spirit includes co-founding Embark Trucks and Varden Labs, where efforts were directed toward advancing self-driving vehicle technology. A graduate of the University of Waterloo, Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering with an AI option.
