Kate Touchton-Leonard

Kate Touchton-Leonard, MA, PMH-C, is an experienced high school counselor at the American Community School in Amman, where the counseling program focuses on academic and emotional support for students. As the Founder and Director of The MamaWise Project, Kate leads efforts to provide evidence-based resources for families in the perinatal period. Additionally, Kate serves as the Coordinator for Postpartum Support International in Jordan, offering mental health support during pregnancy and postpartum. Prior experience includes roles as a Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Specialist at Integrated International and a Research Associate at the National Institutes of Health, where Kate contributed to clinical research and data analysis. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in History, African Studies, and Anthropology from Kenyon College.
